About Me

Hi, my name is Alyssa Fabian!I'm a sound designer, composer, and audio engineer working in video game development, alongside animation and other media as well!I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA., with a Bachelors Electronic Production, Sound Design, and audio development & implementation for games and media, as well as coding and creating procedural audio systems.Through these experiences to the present, I'm always honing in on my personal sound and what I can bring to the table with so many wonderful artists, projects, and communities.Video games help translate the feeling of sound and story, of history, as a whole of human experience. This very idea and purpose has motivated me my whole life to keep moving forward in this field. It's an absolute honor to have the chance to work with and know so many folks in this amazing community and industry. I'm so excited for the opportunity to create with you all!

Designs I made for the Robot Rock Arena section of the experience - a Vampire Survivor-like wave based shooter mode. Includes sound effects for UI events, collectibles, and enemy hit markers. Very fun!

Some of the portal and environmental soundscape and ambience designs I made for each specific area of the Daft Punk Experience. My favorite part was utilizing samples and sections from Daft Punk's music to add to the layers of the portal entrances. It was a very beautiful experience, and hope you enjoy!

While interning at Epic Games with Harmonix, I was given the privelage to work with the teams on many elements of Fortnite Festival and base game cosmetics! It was an extremely exciting opportunity and a great learning opportunity for so much.In this video, it displays work from my time there, including emotes, full pickaxe audio designs, "Dance with Sabrina" concert event designs, and much more!I hope you enjoy!

For the upcoming game debut for Hip Flask Games, the "Bureau of Fantastical and Arcane Affairs" is one of the most fun projects I've ever gotten to be a part of!The base game centers around you entering as a Bureaucratic Inspector in all elements of fantasy, world building, narrative design, and more. Then, after making sure your environment is up to code for the main story campaign, you join the perspective of the HERO, playing out all the sequences you set out in motion, branching out in many directions based on what decisions you make from both sides.Heavily inspired by D&D and other narrative RPGs, this game will be released late 2026, with a demo coming the summer of 2026. I have been working on several audio elements, including creature design, UI, ambience/soundscape design, combat sequences, and more. The unique part is that the audio and SFX for narrative elements are also played linearly, like a story book.It has been an incredible experience to grow and create, and will be showing off my work from the game very soon!

For Spatial Lingo, I helped assist with designing all original sound effects and stingers during the experience! This project was a huge responsibility for me, as I also love accessible learning experiences in VR & AR, especially those that utilize our natural environment in unique ways.For this experience, I had design a range of different SFX, including event triggers, HUD UI, character movements, and more! All of these sounds were only designed with the Meta Sound Collection library as well.

The World of Fallout Experience

Leading up to Amazon's Fallout Series Season 2 release, I was given the opportunity to help with audio design for the supporting experience "The World of Fallout!"In this gameplay and experience, you can explore the different areas of Season 1, as well as newly designed areas for Season 2.For this project, I worked on editing and designing immersive soundscapes and ambiences for all areas, UI sfx, and enter/exit triggers. I hope you enjoy!

I hope for myself and everyone, that we can be sure to eat enough food. That we can spend time with family, friends, and folks that we love. Going outside if we can. That we can try and get enough sleep and rest for the new days to come •
